The last thing I needed is another LBD. But when I saw this perfectly structured and embellished version from Dezzal, I knew I had to have it. The dress is embroidered with sequin bird appliqués and cute little white dots all down the back zipper. Every angle reveals another pretty embroidered patch and unexpected attention to detail that makes this conservative and modest midi dress really stand out from the crowd.

I’m wearing Size Small, but did have to have it altered a bit. The shoulders and arms fit just fine, but I had the waist taken in a few inches just to give it a really snug fit. My petite gals will understand the dilemma and know that alterations are a fact of life. My rule is that if I love something enough, it’s worth the hassle of a few nips and tucks to make it perfect.

I have to mention that the quality of this dress is SO much better than I expected. The fabric is heavy and has substantial weight to it, it’s fully lined from neck to hem, and the embroidery is totally on point. A perfectly ladylike dress that is sure to be on serious repeat this Fall and Winter.
