All that needs to be said here is that I’m crazy about this citron and leopard combo and absolutely can’t get enough.

What I’m NOT crazy about is taking blog photos in the freezing cold. When we took these photos on Saturday, it was pretty much the first frigid day in November complete with blistering wind and impending snow, and needless to say it was a very rushed photo shoot. Since this will be my first winter as a blogger, I am dreading doing style shoots outside. Not only is it cold and difficult to keep clothes (and hats) in their proper position, behind each of my style shoots is a baby in a stroller, a toddler running in and out of the pics, and my very patient hubby/photographer trying to control it all while capturing the great shots you see on the blog. With all this going on behind the scenes, there is only a short window of opportunity to get the photos you need  – and no looking back. The first shot is the only shot!

So when the temps take a real dip in the not-so-distant future, I’m feeling that it wouldn’t be fair on my little ones to drag them outside for mommy to have her picture taken. I’m looking for any advice here from other mom-bloggers who have figured out how to juggle this scenario. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

ps. For all my petite-gal’s, I’m wearing the Petite XXS in this Banana Republic coat and it is perfectly proportioned and fits like a dream. A definite must-have for the vertically challenged.
