I would like to think that I learned a bit from my first baby experience at the hospital, but as with many things, it is a distant memory, many details of which I wish to forget…(Not all of course). When it comes to packing my hospital bag though, I do remember that I packed many unnecessary things that didn’t get used and had to be packed up, lugged around, and unpacked again once I got home.

There are many other things you can bring if you like, but I’ve kept this list very basic, as I was in no condition to read a book, look at magazines or play games during my labour, and these were all extra weight in my bag that didn’t need to be there.  I hope you find the checklist helpful!
