If you follow me on social you’ll know that last week our family spent a week in beautiful St.Thomas on a last-minute vacation. It was great to get away and finally enjoy some serious heat – especially considering the weather that we came back to this past weekend. I’ll be sharing more about our trip here on the blog soon.

This was a look I wore on one of our days exploring Charlotte Amalie. It’s such a beautiful town, full of pretty streets, colourful shops, and quintessential Caribbean architecture. I loved just wandering the hilly roads and seeing all the charm on every corner, such as this beautiful staircase that just never ended.

I picked up this blue embroidered tank about a month ago from J.Crew Factory, even before we knew we were jetting away – so it came in perfectly for the trip. I packed very light for our vacay so I wore this top more than once as you likely know if you follow me on Instagram. I am wearing size Petite XXS and I do have to say that it fits a little big. There was still a bit of gaping under the arms, but since it was so hot where we were, I didn’t mind in the least, but I may consider taking the underarms in a bit so I can wear it more comfortably this summer. It also comes in a pretty neon green colour, and is currently on sale for under $50!. If you are looking for one cute little top to pair with cut-off’s or white jeans this summer, this is the one you need hands down!
