Have you ever been in public and it’s time to nurse the baby? You struggle to find the right bench in the mall, you look for a quiet corner in the park, the list goes on. Then there are the times when it is super awkward such as when your in a plane and the next passenger is too close for comfort. I’ve been in each of these situations, paranoid about accidental exposure, and believe me they can be totally nerve wracking, especially with a crying baby desperate to eat.

I was thrilled when during a late night feed (and Instagram scan) I discovered Covered Goods and their 360 degree, multi-use nursing cover. No more fear of being exposed, this all-around cover gives baby the protection she needs and mama the confidence to nurse anytime, anywhere. The fabric is soft and flexible (and wrinkle-free), it can be worn up around the neck or tucked under one arm – whichever way works for you. I love how it’s cozy for baby, allows the air to flow through and at a quick glance from any angle it looks just like a top. This cover also multi-tasks as a scarf, a car seat cover and shopping cart cover. I’ve used it to cover up the car seat and shield baby from the wind and other elements – all while looking extremely stylish at the same time.

This cover has replaced my previous apron style version and is a now a permanent fixture in my diaper bag, coming with me wherever I go. Now when the time calls for it, I can take a seat nearly anywhere and feed baby conveniently, hassle-free and confidently know that we can still maintain the privacy we need.
